Maternal health services have been uneven and effective in increasing coverage of Antenatal Care, Intranatal Care, Postnatal Care, including maternal mortality, which is still high in several areas in South Kalimantan. Innovative efforts are needed to improve service quality through a service model of continuity of care and interprofessional collaboration. This study aims to determine the differences and effects of ANC, INC, and PNC coverage on improving maternal health services between the two groups.
This research method is a mix-method, exploratory sequential study. Qualitative through FGD, indepth interview and quasy experiment with pretest and post-test with control group design. population is 60 pregnant women. Provider 54 people. The analysis used the alternative t-test Wilcoxon sign rank test, Mann Whitney U. The research intervention was 3 months stage I, phase II 3 months, with the service of the CoC and IPC models in the experimental group and the control group for standard services at the health center.
The results of the qualitative theme of the Banjarese tradition are self- perception, access to services, taboos and recommendations, rituals. There is an effect of the application of the CoC and IPC models of ANC, INC, PNC services after the experimental group intervention p-value 0.000 < 0.05. There is a difference in the increase in coverage of ANC, INC, PNC of the experimental group compared to the control group with p-value of 0.000 <0.05. This study recommends the application of the CoC IPC model for ANC, INC, PNC services, training for midwives, nurses, doctors, nutritionists, health promotion experts in improving communication and leadership skills, and increasing provider respondents from interprofessional collaboration to become a Multi-professional Collaboration Group.
