Ritual Pesung Pare Tallu Penanian dan Tumbang Datu di Toraja Studi Antropolinguistik Tentang Ritual Padi Suatu Analisis Open Coding

This study aims to find out and reveal how the symbols contained in the arrangement of the rice ritual and the prayers contained in the rice ritual prayer rituals in Toraja.
This research method is a comparative method, which is to compare two samples of rice rituals in tambunan and balik district. To obtain data in Toraja, qualitative methods and field methods were used because there were very few writers on rice rituals in Toraja. The approach used is the semiotic approach proposed by Pierce through a developed theory by Silverstein, indexicality.
The results of the research indicated that at the denotational text of Torajan language were divided into two ; grammatical and ideology. The Torajan language ideology in rrice ritual identifies the relation between the tominaa and the deitic showcase a refinement, sensitivity of calm, effacement of temper, emotion, and delicac. The indexicality of the social relation was based on the social status. Interactional text answer the question what is really happening.
