Abstract (Abstrak)

This thesis discusses verb affixation in Arabic and Konjo language. The objectives of this study are: (1) to explain the affixation of Arabic language (2) to explain the affixation of Konjo language (3) to analyze the similarities and differences in affixation of Arabic and Konjo language.
The method of the research is a descriptive study using a qualitative approach. The data collection method used in this study is the observation method. The population in this study were all verbs contained in the Arabic dictionary by Antoni Eldahdah and the Konjo verb by Zuhriah, et al. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling. The sample in Arabic is fi ، l mujarrod and fi ، l mazid, while in Konjo the vocabulary has additional affixes. The data analysis technique in this study used constructive analysis.
Based on the results of the study, the researcher found that the Arabic language affixation process was prefix, infix, suffix, and confix, while in Konjo language it was prefix, suffix, and confix. The prefix in Arabic consists of أ ، ي ، ت ، ن in fi ، l mujarrod and أ ، ان ، است in fi ، l mazid. The prefix in Konjo language consists of / ia- / / ku- /, / nu- / / aK - /, / aN- /, / na - /, / ni - /, / si /, / appa- /. Arabic occurs in fi ، l mazid with the addition of the morpheme tad'if / -ّ- / and the morpheme alif musyaraakah / -ا- /, while Konjo language does not experience infix affixation. The Arabic suffix in fi ، l mujarrod consists of ا ، وا ، تْ ، تا ، ن ، تَ ، تما ، تم ، تِ ، نّ ، تُ ، نا and the suffix in Konjo consists of –i, -ma, -mi, - pa, -ja, -ki, -ko, -ka '. Kofix in Arabic has four forms of confix, namely assabiq wa dakhil, assabiq wallahiq, addkhil wallahiq, and assabiq wadakhil wallahiq, while Confix in Konjo is ni-i. The similarities of Arabic and Konjo are (1) the affixation process of Arabic and Konjo, namely prefixes, suffixes, and confixes to form new sentences. (2) the affixation function in Arabic and special Konjo languages such as fi ، l madhi, f (i ، l mudhari ،, fi ، l amar. (3) Lilmusyarakah with the morpheme / si- / in konjo such as alif musyarakah in language Arabic. (4) lita'diyah with morpheme / appa- / in Konjo such as fi ،l zamaniyah in Arabic. (5) addhamair in Arabic consists of dhamir muthakalim, mukhatab, and ghaib. The difference between Arabic and Konjo language namely (1) The Arabic language affixation process is prefix, infix, suffix, and confix, while the Konjo language is prefix, suffix, and confix. Infixes in Konjo do not exist like those in Arabic alif musyarakah and tad'if (2) Affixation in Arabic there is more than in Konjo because Arabic divides fi ، l mujarrod and fi ، l mazid and Konjo does not divide it like that. (3) the affixation function in Arabic and Konjo does not have litaktsir, mubalagah, and lithalab in Konjo language and found in Arabic. 4) there is no fi ، l majhul in Arabic as found in Konjo, for example the morpheme / ni- / in the word "ninanro" is a prefix that changes fi ، l ma'lum to fi ، l majhul. (5) there are no muzakkar and muannats in Konjo as found in Arabic. (6) there is no mutsanna in Konjo as it is in Arabic.
