Under the Guidance By Dr. Indar Arifin, M.Si As Advisor I And Dr. H. Suhardiman Syamsu, M.Si as Advisor II.
The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of local government policies in controlling buildings and fostering street vendors in Tamalate District, Makassar City. Regulations related to street vendors in Makassar City are contained in the Decree of the Mayor of Makassar Number 20 of 2004 concerning Procedures for Controlling and Guiding Informal Sector Traders (PKL) in the Makassar City Area.
The basic type of research used is descriptive qualitative, which is a study that aims to describe, describe and intend to explain the Implementation of Building Control Policies and the Guidance of Street Vendors (PKL) in Makassar City. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, library research and documentation studies.
From the results of the study, it shows that in handling the control and guidance of street vendors (PKL) in Makassar City, it is regulated in Makassar Mayor Decree Number 20 of 2004 concerning Procedures for Controlling and Guiding Informal Sector Traders (PKL) in the Makassar City Region. . In terms of Communication (Communication) the results of the study found that there was communication that was built between the implementers. In terms of resources, there is still a need for improvement, while in terms of Dispositions or Attitudes, the research finds that there is still a need for improvement and finally, the Bureaucratic Structure research has found that it is constructive.
