The aim of the study is to know relationship AKI and leukocyte absence with outcome septic shock in pediatric intensive cae unit.
This study was a kohort retrospective study, age childrens 1 month-18 years in pediatric intensive care unit Dr Wahidin Sudirohusodo Hospital, Makassar. Sampling get from medical record. Septic shock children that fulfills inclusion kategory were divide into AKI induced septic shock and AKI without induced septic shock then data were analyzed to determine outcome. Data were analyzed by multivariate analysis and multiple regresion formula to predict the outcome.
Result of the study showed drom 90 samples septic shock patients, prevalence of AKI induced septic shock is survive 3 (10,3%) and non survive 26 (89,7%) and non AKI induced septic shock is survive 32 (52,5%) and non survive 29 (47,5%). Analysis results showed there are relationship outcome septic shock with AKI p=0,001 and as prognostic factor with outcome septic shock in pediatric intensif care unit AOR 9,250, IK 95% (2,518-34,382).
