Abstract (Abstrak)

Under natural conditions at sea a moving ship is subject to a wave impact on the surface of the hull which produces a pressure effect and affects the performance of the ship. The greatest stress effect occurs on the bow of a ship using a bulbousbow because of its extreme shape. The amount of pressure can be influenced by the elastic / hydroelastic behavior and speed. The hydroelastic body of the ship is related to the reciprocal interaction of the structure and water pressure, where the movement of the structure due to water pressure will change the surrounding water pressure. The impact of pressure on the bow needs to be measured to determine the pressure distribution on the bow using the Bulbousbow, as well as to determine the ratio of the pressure value of a rigid body with a hydroelastic body on the bow using a Bulbousbow. The method used in this study is an experiment on the ship model. To get the desired results, the ship model used in the experiment is equipped with a piezoelectric die and a force sensor to calibrate the pressure value. So that the average pressure for the speed of 0.732 m/s in the rigid body model is 104.282 N/m2 , while the Hydroelastic body model is 215.647 N/m2 , for the average pressure value of speed 0.976 m/s on the Rigid body model is 203.593 N/m2 , while the Hydroelastic body model is 282.731 N/m2 , the average pressure value of 1.22 m/s in the Rigid body model is 296.186 N/m2 , while the Hydroelastic body model is 339.520 N/m2 . With the percentage ratio of the pressure ratio of the rigid body and Hydroelastic body models of 51.642% at 0.732 m / s, 27,990% at 0,976 m/s and 12,763% at 1,22 m/s
